Zcash Technical Analysis: ZEC Is Testing the Resistance That Could Decide the Next Major Move

🔍 Key Levels and Current Structure

Zcash is approaching one of the most technically important areas visible on the daily chart. After several weeks of corrective pressure, lower highs, violent volatility and repeated tests of support, $ZEC is now attempting to rebuild momentum directly beneath a descending trendline that has controlled the market since the major peak near the $650–$680 region.

At the time of this analysis, ZEC/USDC is trading near $450.74 on the Coinbase daily chart. That price alone does not tell the complete story. The more relevant fact is where price is trading relative to the surrounding structure.

ZEC has recovered above the short-term dynamic averages visible on the chart, currently clustered approximately around $440.94 and $445.92. The long-term rising dynamic average remains lower, near $386.41, while the major horizontal support visible on the chart sits near $367.93. Above current price, the first major horizontal resistance is located around $477.22.

This creates a technically compressed structure:

  • Current price: approximately $450.74
  • Immediate dynamic support: $440–$446
  • First secondary support: approximately $420–$430
  • Major dynamic support: approximately $386.41
  • Critical horizontal support: approximately $367.93
  • Immediate resistance zone: approximately $455–$477
  • Major breakout level: $477.22
  • Psychological resistance above breakout: $500
  • Higher resistance areas: approximately $520–$550, then $600–$620
  • Major historical supply zone: approximately $650–$680
  • Broad long-term demand area: approximately $190–$300

The central question is therefore not whether ZEC has bounced. It clearly has.

The real question is whether this rebound is strong enough to break the descending market structure that has defined the correction from the highs.

At the moment, the answer is still uncertain.

The chart is improving, but the structural breakout has not yet been confirmed.

That distinction is fundamental.

A market can show better momentum while remaining inside a broader bearish corrective structure. It can reclaim moving averages while still being rejected by a dominant trendline. It can generate a bullish MACD crossover without yet establishing a new sequence of higher highs and higher lows.

This is precisely where ZEC appears to be today.

The market is improving.

The market is not yet technically free.

📊 The Bigger Picture: From Explosive Expansion to Controlled Correction

The first element that must be understood is the extraordinary expansion phase visible before the current correction.

ZEC spent a prolonged period trading at much lower levels, largely inside the broad region between approximately $190 and $300. That area is highlighted on the chart as a major long-term demand zone and represents the foundation from which the subsequent bullish expansion developed.

The market then accelerated aggressively.

Once ZEC escaped that historical range, price moved through approximately $300, consolidated, and eventually entered a much stronger expansion phase. The rally became particularly aggressive during May, with price rapidly advancing through the $400, $500 and $600 areas.

The move ultimately reached a major peak in the approximate $650–$680 region.

That rally was powerful, but it also created an important technical problem.

Price had expanded extremely far from its previous long-term equilibrium.

Whenever an asset moves rapidly through multiple resistance zones, especially after emerging from a long accumulation structure, the trend can remain bullish for longer than expected. However, once momentum begins to deteriorate, the correction can also become unusually violent because the market has very little established structural support between the new highs and the previous consolidation areas.

That is exactly what the daily chart appears to show.

After the major peak, ZEC did not simply move sideways.

It began producing a sequence of progressively weaker reactions.

The chart developed:

  • lower highs,
  • declining resistance,
  • repeated rejection from the upper side of the structure,
  • growing volatility,
  • and eventually a major downside event in June.

The descending black trendline drawn from the highs is therefore extremely important. It is not a random line placed on the chart. It represents the visible sequence of declining peaks that has defined the corrective phase.

Every time the market fails below that line, sellers retain structural control.

Every meaningful break above it weakens the bearish correction.

This is why the current price area matters so much.

ZEC is not trading in the middle of nowhere.

It is directly challenging the architecture of the correction.

📉 The Descending Structure Is Still the Main Technical Obstacle

The most obvious technical feature on the daily chart is the descending structure that developed after the peak.

The upper boundary begins near the major high around $670 and slopes downward through the subsequent lower highs. The lower side of the broader corrective structure also descends, creating what can be interpreted as a descending channel or broad falling corrective formation.

The exact label is less important than the underlying market behaviour.

Price has been compressing beneath progressively lower resistance.

That means every rally has historically encountered supply earlier than the previous one.

This is the definition of a market that has not yet completed its trend reversal.

The recent rebound is now testing the upper side of that structure around the current $450–$470 region.

This creates an important technical asymmetry.

Below the trendline, the market remains vulnerable to rejection.

Above the trendline, especially if accompanied by a daily close above $477.22, the probability of a more significant bullish reversal increases materially.

The current candles show hesitation near this area.

That should not be surprising.

Resistance exists because market participants remember previous transactions. Traders who bought during the earlier decline may use a return to these levels to reduce exposure. Short-term participants who entered near the recent lows may take profits. Systematic strategies may react to the descending trendline. Momentum traders may wait for confirmation instead of buying directly into resistance.

The consequence is that the $455–$477 region is not simply a line on a chart.

It is a battlefield between two competing interpretations.

The bullish interpretation says:

ZEC has defended major support, reclaimed its short-term averages, improved momentum and is now preparing a trendline breakout.

The bearish interpretation says:

ZEC has only produced another corrective rally inside an established sequence of lower highs.

Both interpretations remain technically possible.

The next confirmed movement will likely determine which one becomes dominant.

🧱 The $477.22 Level Is the Main Decision Point

Among all the levels visible on the chart, $477.22 is arguably the most important immediate reference.

This level represents a major horizontal resistance area and sits close to the descending structural resistance.

When a horizontal resistance and a descending trendline converge in the same region, the area becomes more important because different categories of market participants are watching approximately the same zone for different reasons.

Some are monitoring the horizontal level.

Others are monitoring the descending trendline.

Others are monitoring the previous swing highs.

Others are watching the round psychological region near $500.

This clustering of technical references can increase both liquidity and volatility.

For this reason, a simple intraday move above $477 would not automatically represent a confirmed breakout.

What we would prefer to see is a stronger sequence:

  1. ZEC breaks above the descending trendline.
  2. Price closes the daily session above approximately $477.
  3. Volume expands relative to recent sessions.
  4. Price avoids immediate rejection back below the breakout area.
  5. Ideally, the market retests the $460–$477 region and holds it as support.

That would represent a much more convincing structural transition.

The difference between a wick above resistance and a confirmed breakout is enormous.

A wick can simply represent liquidity collection.

A confirmed daily close followed by acceptance above resistance suggests that the market has actually changed its perception of fair value.

Until that happens, caution remains necessary.

📈 The Recent Rebound Has Real Technical Strength

Although the broader corrective structure remains active, it would be a mistake to ignore the positive developments visible in the recent rebound.

ZEC has recovered significantly from the major support area around $368–$386.

This rebound is important for several reasons.

First, the market successfully reacted from a region where multiple forms of support converge.

The long-term dynamic average is currently visible near $386.41. The major horizontal support is near $367.93. Price recently approached this broader area and buyers responded.

That creates a meaningful support cluster approximately between $368 and $390.

Second, ZEC has reclaimed the shorter dynamic averages around $441 and $446.

This is important because during sustained corrections, short-term averages often act as dynamic resistance. When price begins reclaiming them, the market may be transitioning from persistent selling pressure toward equilibrium or early recovery.

Third, momentum indicators are improving.

The RSI has recovered toward approximately 50.90, while its own smoothing line is lower, near 46.32. This is not overbought. In fact, it places the market almost exactly around the neutral midpoint.

Fourth, the MACD structure has improved considerably.

The histogram has turned positive, and the faster line appears to have crossed above the slower signal component while both remain below or near the zero region.

That is a constructive development.

However, these positive signals must be interpreted correctly.

They indicate improving momentum.

They do not automatically confirm a new bullish trend.

🟦 Short-Term Moving Averages: The First Bullish Improvement

The two shorter dynamic averages visible on the chart are currently located approximately around:

  • $445.92
  • $440.94

Price is trading slightly above both.

This creates the first immediate technical support cluster.

In the very short term, the ability of ZEC to remain above approximately $440–$446 is constructive. It suggests that the recent rebound has enough strength to maintain price above the short-term equilibrium zone.

However, the proximity of current price to those averages also means the situation remains fragile.

ZEC is not trading 20% above dynamic support with enormous momentum.

It is sitting only slightly above those levels while simultaneously testing descending resistance.

This means the market could easily move back below the averages without necessarily creating an immediate structural collapse.

A retracement toward $440, or even somewhat lower toward $420–$430, could still be compatible with a broader recovery attempt.

The key issue is how the market behaves during that retracement.

A healthy pullback would ideally show:

  • decreasing selling volume,
  • smaller bearish candles,
  • support developing above previous local lows,
  • RSI holding near or above the 40–45 region,
  • and buyers returning before the $386–$368 major support cluster.

An unhealthy pullback would show:

  • strong expansion in bearish volume,
  • decisive daily closes below $420,
  • loss of the $386 dynamic support,
  • and eventual failure below $367.93.

Those two outcomes would have completely different implications.

🟣 The Long-Term Dynamic Average Near $386 Is Critical

The thick rising magenta average on the chart is currently positioned near $386.41.

Regardless of the exact moving-average methodology used, its behaviour is technically significant.

Unlike the descending resistance line, this longer-term dynamic average is still rising.

That creates an interesting conflict between timeframes.

The medium-term price structure is corrective.

The longer-term dynamic trend remains more constructive.

This is one reason why the current chart cannot be interpreted as simply bullish or bearish.

There are multiple layers operating simultaneously.

The rally from the long-term base remains visible.

The correction from the peak is also visible.

The market is now deciding which structure will dominate the next phase.

The $386 region is therefore one of the most important levels on the entire chart.

As long as ZEC holds above it, the market retains the possibility that the entire decline from the highs is a large corrective phase inside a still constructive broader trend.

If price decisively loses $386 and then closes below $367.93, that interpretation becomes much weaker.

At that point, the market would no longer simply be correcting.

It would be threatening a deeper structural deterioration.

🧠 RSI Analysis: Momentum Has Recovered, but There Is No Breakout Signal Yet

The Relative Strength Index is currently around 50.90.

This is a particularly interesting reading because it is almost perfectly neutral.

An RSI around 50 tells us that neither bullish nor bearish momentum is currently dominant enough to create an extreme condition.

That may sound unimportant, but in this context it is useful.

During the previous decline, RSI momentum weakened significantly. The recent recovery back toward the midpoint indicates that selling pressure has reduced and buyers have regained some control.

The RSI is also above its smoother reference line, visible around 46.32.

That creates a modest positive momentum signal.

However, there is an important distinction between an RSI recovery to 50 and an RSI expansion through 60–65.

A move toward 50 says:

the market is recovering from weakness.

A sustained move through 60 says:

bullish momentum may be becoming dominant.

ZEC has achieved the first condition.

It has not yet achieved the second.

This reinforces the broader interpretation of the chart.

The market is improving, but confirmation is incomplete.

For a convincing breakout above $477, it would be constructive to see RSI accelerate above the current neutral area and establish itself above approximately 55–60.

Conversely, if price is rejected from resistance and RSI turns lower beneath 45, the probability of another support test would increase.

The RSI is therefore not giving us an extreme signal.

It is telling us that the market is at equilibrium precisely when price is approaching a major structural decision.

That combination often precedes an expansion in volatility.

📊 MACD Analysis: The Best Bullish Signal on the Current Chart

The MACD is arguably the most constructive momentum indicator visible at the moment.

The histogram has turned positive, showing a value around 7.73 on the chart. The faster MACD line appears to be near -4.98, while the slower signal component is lower, approximately around -12.78.

The exact numerical values are less important than the relationship between them.

The faster component has crossed above the slower one.

The histogram has turned positive.

Momentum is improving.

This tells us that the rate of bearish pressure has weakened and that the recent rebound is not merely a single random candle.

There is genuine short-term momentum behind the move.

However, the MACD appears to remain below the zero line.

This matters.

A bullish crossover below zero often occurs during the early phase of a recovery. It can produce a significant rally, but it can also fail if the broader downtrend remains dominant.

A stronger confirmation would occur if:

  • price breaks structural resistance,
  • MACD continues rising,
  • the fast and signal lines approach or cross above zero,
  • and the positive histogram expands.

That combination would indicate that the rebound is transitioning into something more structurally significant.

At the moment, the MACD is bullish enough to deserve attention.

It is not strong enough to invalidate the descending structure by itself.

📦 Volume: The Main Missing Confirmation

Volume is one of the reasons we remain cautious about declaring a confirmed bullish reversal.

The chart shows a major volume expansion during the violent June sell-off.

That was an important event.

Large volume during sharp declines often indicates forced liquidation, panic, capitulation, institutional repositioning or a major transfer of ownership between market participants.

After that event, ZEC stabilized and began recovering.

However, the recent rebound toward the $450–$470 area has not yet produced the type of explosive volume expansion that would make a breakout immediately convincing.

This does not mean the rally must fail.

It means confirmation remains weaker than ideal.

A genuine structural breakout above $477 would be much more credible if accompanied by increasing participation.

Why?

Because resistance breaks require demand.

Price can briefly move through a level because available sell orders are thin. But for the market to remain above resistance, buyers must continue accepting progressively higher prices.

Volume helps us evaluate whether that participation is present.

At the moment, the market is approaching resistance with improving momentum but without overwhelming participation.

This is one of the main reasons our base case does not assume an immediate vertical breakout.

🟢 Bullish Scenario: Breakout Above $477 and Structural Reversal

The bullish scenario becomes significantly stronger if ZEC can break and hold above the $455–$477 resistance region.

The critical level is approximately $477.22.

A convincing daily close above that level would achieve several things simultaneously.

It would:

  • weaken the descending trendline,
  • challenge the sequence of lower highs,
  • reclaim major horizontal resistance,
  • confirm the recent rebound,
  • and open the path toward the psychological $500 region.

In this scenario, the first major target would likely be approximately:

🎯 $500–$520

The $500 level is psychologically important. Markets often react near large round numbers, particularly after prolonged volatility.

A breakout above $477 could quickly attract momentum traders, but the first reaction around $500 would be expected.

If ZEC establishes acceptance above $500, the next area becomes:

🎯 $540–$560

This region corresponds approximately to previous structural activity and could act as a secondary supply zone.

A sustained move through $550 would represent a much more significant bullish development because the market would then be recovering a substantial portion of the previous correction.

The next target would be:

🎯 $600–$620

This would bring ZEC back toward the upper portion of the previous distribution structure.

Finally, the major historical resistance remains:

🎯 $650–$680

A return to that region would represent a full challenge of the major peak.

However, it is important not to jump directly from $450 to $680 in the analysis.

Markets rarely move through multiple major resistance zones without intermediate reactions.

The correct bullish progression would be:

$477 breakout → $500–$520 → $540–$560 → $600–$620 → $650–$680

Each zone would require new confirmation.

Bullish confirmation conditions

The bullish scenario becomes more credible with:

  • a daily close above $477,
  • increasing volume,
  • RSI moving above 55–60,
  • MACD continuing to strengthen,
  • and a successful retest of the breakout zone.

The ideal configuration would be a breakout followed by a controlled retracement toward $460–$477, where former resistance becomes support.

That would provide much stronger evidence of a genuine structural transition.

🟡 Neutral Scenario: Rejection, Consolidation and Another Breakout Attempt

This is, in our opinion, the most probable scenario at the moment.

ZEC is testing a major resistance cluster after a strong recovery from support.

Momentum has improved.

Price is above the short-term averages.

MACD is constructive.

RSI is neutral-positive.

But volume is not yet providing overwhelming confirmation, and the market remains directly beneath one of the most important descending resistance structures on the chart.

For this reason, our base case is not an immediate collapse.

It is also not an immediate vertical breakout.

The more probable scenario is a period of consolidation, rejection or controlled retracement before the market chooses the next major direction.

A possible path would be:

  1. ZEC struggles between approximately $450 and $477.
  2. Price experiences a short-term rejection.
  3. The market retests the $440–$446 dynamic average cluster.
  4. A deeper retracement could extend toward approximately $420–$430.
  5. Buyers attempt to defend the structure.
  6. ZEC later makes another attempt to break $477.

This scenario would be technically healthy as long as the pullback remains controlled.

In fact, a retracement could potentially improve the structure.

Why?

Because the recent rebound has been relatively fast.

Markets often need to create a new higher low before a durable breakout can develop.

If ZEC retraces toward $420–$440, holds, and then produces another higher low, the chart would begin transitioning from a sequence of lower highs toward a more constructive structure.

That would create:

  • a defended major low near $368,
  • a higher reaction low,
  • and a renewed attack on $477.

Such a sequence would be more sustainable than a straight vertical move.

Our preferred base-case range

The area we would monitor most closely is approximately:

$420–$477

Inside that region, ZEC could consolidate while momentum resets.

A temporary move toward $440 should not automatically be interpreted as bearish.

Even a move toward approximately $420 could remain technically acceptable.

The real danger would begin if selling pressure accelerates toward $386 and $368.

🔴 Bearish Scenario: Rejection from Resistance and Loss of Major Support

The bearish scenario begins with a failure in the current resistance region.

ZEC is already close to the descending trendline and the $477 horizontal level.

A rejection here would therefore be technically normal.

The initial bearish move would likely target:

📉 $440–$446

This is the first dynamic support cluster.

A move into this zone would represent a simple retest of reclaimed short-term averages.

If buyers respond, the structure remains constructive.

If price loses this cluster decisively, the next area becomes:

📉 $420–$430

This is an important intermediate region because it could become the location of a higher low.

Failure there would expose:

📉 $386–$390

This is where the long-term rising dynamic average becomes critical.

A test of approximately $386 would represent a major event.

The market could still bounce from this zone, but repeated tests would weaken support.

Below that, the central level is:

📉 $367.93

This is the most important bearish invalidation area on the visible chart.

A decisive daily breakdown below $367.93 would materially deteriorate the technical structure.

At that point, the market would risk moving toward:

📉 $330–$300

The $300 region is particularly significant because it marks the upper side of the large historical demand zone visible in green.

If $300 fails, the chart exposes the broader long-term area between approximately:

📉 $190–$300

That would represent a much deeper mean-reversion scenario and a return toward the base from which the major rally originally developed.

It is not our primary scenario today.

But it cannot be ignored.

⚠️ Why $367.93 Is the True Structural Invalidation Level

The current price around $450 can easily create excessive focus on the immediate resistance.

However, from a broader perspective, the most important downside level is probably $367.93.

This level separates two very different interpretations of the market.

Above $367.93, the structure can still be interpreted as:

a major rally followed by a broad correction, with long-term support still intact.

Below $367.93, the market increasingly begins to look like:

a failed recovery with risk of deeper retracement toward the previous long-term accumulation zone.

That is why a small move below $440 is not equivalent to a breakdown below $368.

The timeframe matters.

Technical analysis requires hierarchy.

Not every support has the same importance.

The $440 area is tactical.

The $420 area is intermediate.

The $386–$368 area is structural.

This hierarchy should guide the interpretation of future price action.

🎯 Potential Long Scenario

A potential long setup exists, but the current location is difficult because price is directly beneath major resistance.

Buying aggressively around $450–$460 without confirmation means entering close to the descending trendline and below $477.

That creates poor asymmetry unless the trader accepts a high probability of short-term rejection.

For this reason, the cleaner long scenarios would be conditional.

Long Scenario A: Confirmed Breakout

The first potential long setup would require:

  • daily close above $477,
  • preferably increased volume,
  • continued positive MACD development,
  • and no immediate bearish rejection.

A more conservative entry would wait for a retest of approximately $460–$477 after breakout confirmation.

Potential target progression:

  • $500–$520
  • $540–$560
  • $600–$620

Structural invalidation would depend on entry timing, but a failed breakout back below the reclaimed zone would represent an important warning.

Long Scenario B: Controlled Pullback

The second potential long setup could develop if ZEC is rejected from resistance but holds a higher support region.

The most interesting zones would be approximately:

  • $440–$446
  • $420–$430

The key would not be touching the level.

The key would be observing confirmation.

For example:

  • rejection wick,
  • bullish engulfing structure,
  • decreasing sell volume,
  • renewed momentum,
  • or a clear higher low.

This scenario could provide better risk-to-reward than buying directly beneath resistance.

Long Scenario C: Major Support Reaction

A more aggressive swing setup could appear if ZEC returns toward approximately $386–$368.

This would be a much deeper correction.

However, because that zone combines a rising long-term average and horizontal support, a confirmed bullish reaction could become technically significant.

The risk is obvious.

If $367.93 fails, the entire structure deteriorates.

Therefore this would require strict invalidation.

🎯 Potential Short Scenario

The short side also requires confirmation because momentum is currently improving.

Opening a bearish position simply because price is near resistance could be dangerous if ZEC breaks $477 with momentum.

The cleaner bearish scenarios would also be conditional.

Short Scenario A: Confirmed Rejection

A bearish setup could develop if ZEC:

  • fails beneath $455–$477,
  • prints a clear reversal candle,
  • loses $440–$446,
  • and momentum turns lower.

Potential downside areas would include:

  • $420–$430
  • $386–$390
  • $367.93

This would represent a continuation of the descending corrective structure.

Short Scenario B: Failed Breakout

Another technically interesting setup could appear if ZEC temporarily breaks above $477 but then rapidly closes back below the level.

That would represent a potential bull trap.

A failed breakout is often more informative than a simple rejection because it demonstrates that buyers attempted to establish acceptance above resistance and failed.

In that case, the first downside references would again be $445, $440 and $420.

Short Scenario C: Structural Breakdown

The strongest bearish confirmation would occur below $367.93.

A decisive daily breakdown beneath that level could open the path toward:

  • $330
  • $300
  • and potentially the broader $190–$300 demand area.

This would be a different type of trade.

It would not be a short-term resistance rejection.

It would represent a major structural deterioration.

⚖️ Which Scenario Is Most Probable?

Our current view is that the most probable scenario is a period of consolidation or controlled rejection beneath $477, followed by a retest of lower support and potentially another breakout attempt.

In other words, we do not consider an immediate vertical move toward $600 the highest-probability outcome.

We also do not consider an immediate collapse toward $200 the highest-probability outcome.

The chart is more balanced than either extreme.

The reasons are clear.

Factors supporting the bulls

ZEC has:

  • defended the $368–$386 major support cluster,
  • recovered strongly from recent lows,
  • reclaimed short-term dynamic averages,
  • pushed RSI back toward 50,
  • generated an improving MACD configuration,
  • and returned to the upper boundary of the corrective structure.

These are meaningful positive developments.

Factors supporting caution

However, ZEC is also:

  • still beneath a major descending trendline,
  • still below the $477.22 horizontal resistance,
  • still inside a broader sequence created after the major peak,
  • approaching resistance without overwhelming volume,
  • and showing RSI near neutral rather than in confirmed bullish expansion.

This combination suggests that the market is improving but not yet fully reversed.

Therefore, our base case is:

ZEC is likely to spend time between approximately $420 and $477, with a possible short-term retest of the $440 area, before a clearer directional breakout develops.

Within that base case, we would slightly prefer a constructive outcome as long as the $386–$368 structural support cluster remains intact.

Why?

Because momentum is currently improving rather than deteriorating.

The MACD is strengthening.

Price is above the short-term averages.

RSI has recovered.

The long-term dynamic average is still rising.

Those elements suggest that buyers are not absent.

But the market still needs confirmation.

Subjective scenario weighting

As a technical framework, not a statistical guarantee, our current subjective weighting would be approximately:

  • 50% probability: consolidation or pullback between $420 and $477, followed by another breakout attempt
  • 30% probability: direct bullish breakout above $477 with expansion toward $500–$550
  • 20% probability: deeper bearish rejection, loss of $386–$368 and continuation toward $330–$300

These are not mathematically calculated probabilities.

They are simply a way of communicating our current technical hierarchy.

The central idea is that the intermediate consolidation scenario currently appears more realistic than either immediate extreme.

🧩 What Would Change Our View?

A good technical analysis must define not only the current thesis but also what would invalidate it.

Our current view would become substantially more bullish if ZEC produces:

  • a decisive daily close above $477.22,
  • expanding volume,
  • RSI acceleration above 55–60,
  • continuing MACD improvement,
  • and successful acceptance above the former resistance.

In that case, we would begin treating the correction as potentially completed and would focus increasingly on $500–$520 and $540–$560.

Our view would become substantially more bearish if ZEC:

  • loses $420 with strong momentum,
  • fails to recover $386,
  • and closes decisively below $367.93.

That sequence would suggest that the recent rebound was only another lower high inside the corrective structure.

The downside risk toward $330–$300 would then increase materially.

🧠 Final Technical Outlook

Zcash is entering a genuine decision zone.

The daily chart has improved significantly from the weakness seen during the June decline. Buyers defended a major support cluster, price recovered above short-term dynamic averages, RSI returned toward neutral territory and MACD momentum turned positive.

These developments should not be dismissed.

They show that bearish momentum has weakened.

However, a weakening bearish trend is not automatically a confirmed bullish trend.

ZEC remains directly beneath the descending resistance that has controlled price since the major peak around $650–$680. It is also below the major horizontal level near $477.22.

This means the market has reached the point where the rebound must prove itself.

A confirmed break above $477 would materially change the chart.

It could open the path toward $500–$520 first, then $540–$560 and potentially $600–$620.

But without that breakout, the current move remains vulnerable to rejection.

Our most probable scenario is therefore a consolidation or controlled retracement between approximately $420 and $477. A retest of the $440 area would be technically normal. Even a deeper pullback toward $420 could remain compatible with a constructive recovery.

The critical long-term zone remains $386–$368.

As long as that cluster holds, the market preserves the possibility that the entire decline from the highs is a broad correction inside a still constructive larger structure.

Below $367.93, that interpretation begins to fail.

The most important message from the chart is therefore simple:

ZEC is stronger than it was several weeks ago, but it has not yet completed the transition from recovery to confirmed reversal.

The bulls have regained momentum.

They have not yet reclaimed the structure.

That battle is taking place now between approximately $455 and $477.

A confirmed breakout could become the beginning of the next major expansion phase.

A rejection could send price back toward $440, $420 or even the $386–$368 support cluster.

For now, patience remains essential.

The market is not giving a clean trend signal.

It is approaching the level that could create one.
